Have you ever had a flat tire while you are on the trail and fumble around trying to fix it? Has your chain ever broken while you are riding and you’ve had to walk back to your car? Have you been wondering about what regular maintenance you should do to your bike so you can avoid costly repairs in the future and when you should take your bike to the shop?
After our regular June board meeting, members are welcome to join us for a Bike Maintenance Clinic.
3 professional mechanics will guide us through trail side emergency repairs (such as changing a tube and repairing a broken chain) as well as maintenance you should be doing to your bike at home (such as lubing the chain and what bolts you should be checking) as well as how to properly clean your bike so you don’t spray all of the oil out of the bearings. They’ll also talk about when you should take your bike to the shop.
Please feel free to come to the board meeting as well.
